Dr Andrew Retires

Announcing the Retirement on June 30, 2024

Clifford G. Andrew, M.D., Ph.D., Neurology

Dr Andrew and Patient

In July 1969 at age 22 in my 2nd year of medical school at the Duke University School of Medicine, I entered my first basic clinical rotation and saw my first patient. I still remember her well: a 77 year-old woman who had survived he Holocaust, and was suffering from cogestive heart failure. If it were solely my choice I would probably go on forever, but I have decided that now is the time: After 4 years at Columbia, 8 years at Duke, 10 years at Johns Hopkins, and 4 years in Annapolis, I have practiced for the past 34 years out of Suites 103-105 at 645 Baltimore - Annapolis Blvd in Severna Park, Maryland. now after 55 years of seeing patients, I am announcing that at age 77 I will be retiring from my practice as of June 30, 2024. I has, indeed, been a long and rewarding career for me, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my patients, my dedicated staff, colleagues and partners. Patients are asking: "Dr Andrew, what are you planning to do?" Well, spend some time with my dear wife after long hall those long ours away, see more of my 6 children, 10 grandchildren, 7 siblings, and 18 nieces and nephews and get back work on my genealogy avocation at www.geneal.net, start a new Naturalist Group at Roland Park Place, and, yes, pick up where my left knee gave out on Mt Moosilauke and finish the last 300 miles of the 2200 mile Appalachian trail through the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the "100-Mile Wilderness" of Maine. Let me know if you wish to join me!
